Cynthia, a Teacher
This client needed some help decluttering and organizing her garage. She was a little overwhelmed with the prospect of doing it herself, so she called me to help. She had recently retired from a 40 year teaching career. Over the years, she had accumulated a lot of teaching materials, most of which she had purchased herself, and some that she had made herself. She had also received many special gifts from students. When she was finally ready to let them go, she wanted to make sure that the teaching materials would be put to good use for teaching children, and not just dropped off at the most convenient place. I understood this desire and wanted to honor it. We discussed several possible agencies as recipients of the supplies, and both of us were thrilled to find a local agency that was a perfect fit.
