Pam, a CPA

This client was moving her elderly father-in-law across the country and needed someone to unpack and set up the apartment. He has several health issues, so unpacking was a chore he was not looking forward to, and the rest of the family didn’t have time in their schedule for this task. I was given the instructions to “set it up the way you would your own home”, which gave me the freedom to make choices as to how to arrange furniture, belongings, and decorations in the apartment. The best part of the job was that her father-in-law had no idea that it was being set up for him. When he walked into the apartment, he was expecting to see it full of boxes and to have many hours of work ahead of him. Imagine his surprise to see the apartment move in ready!
