Hope Helps in West Kingsport: accepts donations of just about anything and distributes to the less fortunate; they also donate food

Holston Habitat for Humanity: accepts donations of gently used furniture, appliances, housewares, electronics, and building materials. Clothing is not accepted.

Hope Haven Ministries (Dale St. in Kingsport): toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning products, trash bags, hygiene items for males/females

Hope House (Maternity home, crisis pregnancy resource center): Diapers, wipes, formula (Similac), paper towels, laundry detergent, trash bags, shampoo and conditioner, toiletries, body wash, car seats, infant gas drops

Family Promise Kingsport (Holston St. in Kingsport; formerly Interfaith Hospitality Network): deodorant, family-size shampoo, hair brushes, Kleenexes, paper plates, paper towels, napkins, plastic forks and spoons, dish and laundry detergent, business-size envelopes, ink pens, Post-it notes, highlighters, and letter-size file folders

JDog Junk Removal and Hauling: A Veteran-owned business that takes everything except for hazardous chemicals. They recycle, reprocess, and repurpose as much of the material as possible through relationships with charities, community groups, and recyclers. Call 1.844.get.jdog for a free estimate.

Goodwill: Does not accept: TVs, computer, baby equipment; will take mattresses (if in good condition)
